Soon enough, it will be genetically modified mice we have to worry about hacking into OPM. I wonder if this takes into account the Flynn effect – IQ scores rise ~3/8 point per eighteen months [1].

[1] As six months is a Friedman Unit (FU), I propose that a Moore Unit (MU) is eighteen months, the time in which it takes to double the number of transistors on a chip, and decrease the IQ necessary to take over the world by either 1 or 1.375 points [2]. I can find no reference to this on the popular search engines, so here you go. Yet Another phenomenom named by me [3].

[2] It’s quite possible these two effects are related – by giving everyone more compute power and available knowledge, and gluing anyone who might stop this to a screen. I remember Babylon indeed.
